2014 Family catch-up

I'm going to try to finish updating the almost 2 years worth of quilts and family celebrations, so here goes.  I'll start with the family celebrations and handle the quilting in another post......Let's see, my last post was the first part of May 2014, the end of May we celebrated great nephew Max's 4th birthday, here are a couple of pictures of the birthday boy.

Enjoying his birthday cake!

In June we took our "Girl's Trip" - usually the trip included sisters and sister-in-laws (3 sisters, 2 sister-in-laws).  Since my sister Ruth had recently relocated to Norman Oklahoma we decided to visit Oklahoma City.  We included 2 additional folks to our party - Aunt Rosalie, so she could visit with Aunt Alma who had relocated to Oklahoma after the loss of Uncle Sonny and my niece Lena who was feeling a little left out of our preparations.  Here are some of the pictures of the trip.

We dropped Aunt Rosalie at cousin Gail's to spend time with Aunt Alma, then headed to dinner with the gang.  We spent a fun 4 days visited the botanic gardens, the Museum of Modern Art, the Cattlemen's Steakhouse, the dog show, we found a cute cupcake and candy shop next to the train station, visited the canal district.  Here are more pictures from the trip.  We took in the Cowboy Hall of Fame, the Botanic Gardens, the Oklahoma Museum of Modern Art (they had a Dale Chihuly exhibit that was awesome! and Union Station.

Thanks for reading.
